ASR112 assault rifle replica by APS is an innovative construction equipped with specially built hybrid gearbox, bearing the an official name "APS Hybrid Gearbox". ASR111 is based on a construction typical for a series of popular American rifles and equipped with a shortened RAS Guardian RTS handguard and a steel outer barrel in a free-float barrel system. The top RIS rail allows for the attachment of any optical aiming devices, such as a scope or a reflex sight, however its basic role is to be a base for mounting of flip-up iron sights, precisely made from a durable composite polymer, so-called APS Rhino Iron Sights. This attachment deserves special attention - they allow to fire both using a high and low profiles thanks to the aperture sights’ ability of being set in two positions.
The replica features a multi-position stock that stores the battery and a highly ergonomic pistol grip. Also the RAS Guardian handguard is incredibly functional and comfortable to use, while its moved forward constructions allows for firing using many various support methods.
The RAS Guardian RTS (Rail Transformation System) is probably the most characteristic feature of this replica. The handguard that allows for full adjustment of the replica to the user’s individual needs. RIS rail segments can be freely attached to the RTS handguard in standard positions (top, bottom, left, right) as well as in transitional positions (left-top, right-down, etc.).
