GROUNDHOG is an ideal example that compact size does not have to limit the functionality in any way. This universal, compact backpack will be great for short hiking trips, bicycle riding or for everyday use. The capacious main compartment can easily hold not only a hydration bladder, stabilized by a tape hanger but also additional clothing or other useful equipment. Additionally, the front of the backpack features an expanding pocket with a vertical zipper.
The concealable, mesh beavertail enables the attachment of a helmet to the backpack and can also be used for carrying wet clothing, thus separating it from remaining contents of the backpack. The sides of the backpack feature two flat pockets concealing additional mesh bottle pockets, stabilized by side compression belts. In addition, the sides feature two rows of narrow MOLLE Lite webbing. These bets, each with a width of mere 15 mm, enable the attachment of additional pouches and, thanks to a smaller width, they allow for a considerable weight reduction.
The load-bearing system of the backpack was based on narrow, soft, profiled suspenders with mesh padding. The mesh also covers stiffened, soft back, thus preventing the excessive sweating. The backpack features a minimalistic waist and chest belt for an increased stabilization.
