The BY-806 model was made of ABS plastic material. The upper receiver and the RIS rail is a one part along with the carrying handle which is also equipped with a RIS rail.
The elements which characterize this model among other PDW (Personal Defense Weapon – carbines/sub-machineguns in their shortest and lightest versions designed for helicopter crews, tank crews and drivers as a defensive weapon which can auto fire the AUTO firing mode) is its size, weight and, foremost, its versatility for both, left and right handed shooters. The replica is equipped with an ambidextrous firing mode selector lever thanks to which you can change the firing mode with the thumb or the index finger of both hands, it is also equipped with the so-called “multi magazine catch” – the ambidextrous magazine release lever. The weapon’s body is also equipped with a QD type attachment point.
The replica is equipped with a stock foldable to the side and which also minimizes the replica to the minimum of 450mm. On the top mounting rail, there are mounted the “flip up” type iron aiming sights which are perfectly made and, foremost, are functional and durable. After pulling the cocking handle, the bolt dummy reveals the Hop-Up adjustment knob.
The magazine which is included in the set is made of ABS plastic.
Inside of the replica, there is a V2 gearbox which is made of polycarbonate.
The set does not include a battery or a charger.
The set includes:
- the replica - a magazine - PEQ replica for battery
Battery included
NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.

Blow Back
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the
work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and
adds a lot more experience during shooting.

Gearbox version
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only
shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the
manufacturer
depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example,
a
models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK
family have gearbox v3.

Hop-Up
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
Collected my gun this morning. And would like to share my first impressions : Definitely the best buy for 48 Euros. Overall quality responds with the price. I've spent few hours to do some tech work on it. Now she is with a 110 mm silencer from "Swiss Army Special forces", fore grip by "Swiss army" and flashlight by "Leapers". Used the purchased battery box as a riser for my 1 x 35 "Bushnell" red dot sight and installed another, more functional battery box. The original hi-cap magazine does not feed the replica very well, so I replaced it with a "Crytac" M4 mid-cap magazine and now it is feeded amazingly . Chrono test showed stable 0,42 Joules and very good and equal velocity rate : 61-62 m/s . My grand son is the happiest 11 years old creature arround. Thank you Gunfire !!!
This replica is definitely worth the money! The ABS materials are of really high quality and they almost feel metal. The rate of fire is surprisingly high (it depends on your battery) with an 8,4 Nimh battery. Mind though that it does not come with a battery or charger so better get a Lipo. Mine didn't come with the Foregrip depicted in the images but I received a better quality PEQ Box that looked like it is after market and I much prefer it. Mind though that battery space is limited so better get a small battery to fit in your PEQ box. Finally this replica can be used with M4 Mags and it comes with a V.2 Gearbox which you can easily upgrade. For this pricepoint this is an absoloute DEAL!
Cheap and funny gun. 140 BBS magazine in seconds... A good bb storm firing. Break tins at 5 meters.lipo bat easy to but by 7 euros Very good replica. And only 50 cms longitud....
this pdw is great for a beginner, his lightweight make it perfect for a long day game, good accuracy mag feeds properly and m4 mags fits on this model as well
This PDW is very good for indoor CQB.
Tested 09.11.2014 @ODA Odense airsoft, Denmark
Pros:
- Takes M4 mags
- Folding stock works vell (can be used as a tac grip if u are left handed)
- The range of this gun is also good
- Very light replica for your mobility (easy to control corners)
- Rails are of plastic (u can pimp it, optics/flashlights ect. ect.)
Cons:
- The battery most be external (u will get a low quality PEQ box with)
- The battery is very low quality (get a LIPO 7.4 for better ROF and semi)
- The gearbox is of plastic (what the hell it still owns)
- The tac. grip u get with the order is very low quality
Overall:
You should get this gun if u are new to airsoft, or will try out a inexpensive gun, for indoor games.
5 stars from here because of the inexpensive price and the "okay" quality.
Thanks gunfire.pl.

Just got mine yesterday, work good out of the box, better quality then you'd expect for this price, nice grouping when shooting, My opinion, you get your money's worth!!!
Got this gun today and its top class, it looks great and shoots great, very accurate as well, overall great gun for small money, i will be buying again very soon, thanks gunfire
It's amazing cheap gun. Made by ABS-plastic. The looking isn't the best but good for this price. The gearbox is V2 which is fully plastic. The GB shell, gears, cut-of-lever, motor-gear is plastic. The GB and the whoole gun has a lot grease, I recommend to clean it. The stock battery is really poor. The gun shoot 250 FPS and it's has only 3 FPS fluctuation, it's really consistant! The gun can shoot any target at 30 meter but it can shoot a human body at 42 meter maximum - but I recommend to use leight BB, like .2 or .23. When you replace the GB to a metal one than you can upgrade it to 300-330 FPS which is perfect to this gun. In stock condition will be good for CQB or any close-combat situation.
Its a good gun overall, very light for being all plastic, i also ended up breaking the lid on the battery box like Vasco said on his review, so i know im not alone when i said some material is rather low quaility. The foregrip is bad, its wiggles everywhere and the sights are not the best. Pretty sure the only metal thing are the screws. With all that said, the gun still has some very good range and speed, ROF is not the best but will do the trick. Single fire is not recommended since it will be hard to do quick burts with your finger. The hicap also has some feeding issues. The foldable stock is awesome, i love it. I just hope it lasts a long time.
Bought this particular replica in April.
Was surprised to how light it is and compact too. Seems durable enough, if you take in consideration that is all plastic and handle it with that in mind.
As a side note, this version include the barrel extension. I do have to stress, however, that its entirely made of plastic... i ended up breaking the clip that closes the lid of the battery compartment in a effort to pry it open and the tiny plastic pin that holds the small lever in the charging handle popped itself out along the aforementioned lever the very first time i handled them.
All in all good gun for what you pay. I believe this is a detuned Lancer Tactical KAC PDW... that one is more akin to the BY808, Fps-wise.
got this last friday gunfire..thru gls courier..test fire them..beautiful..even if they are abs plastic.they perform great good for CQB..got two(2) of them..light and simply the best..5 stars ..LITO-tyrrelstown,dublin 15
