GF Corp sp. z o.o. sp. k., based in Wrocław, informs that laboratory tests have revealed excessive lead content in the soldered components of the product – Baofeng speaker mic, model: 31644, EAN code: 5902543765000. The detected level was 64%, while the permitted limit is 0.1%. This constitutes a violation of §4(1)(1)(a) of the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements for the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
As a result, the above-mentioned product poses a serious threat to the natural environment.
We also inform that this notice has been published in connection with proceedings conducted by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), and the Baofeng speaker mic, model: 31644, EAN code: 5902543765000 has been withdrawn from sale.
