MC6595M GBBR Carbine Replica - Half-Tan

With knowledge on how to maintain and repair GBB's, this is a good, not great deal. hence 3 stars. For those who do not know how to repair gas leaks or upgrade/maintain the rifle, this will be probably 1 star. I had to do a lot of maintenance and change 1 part but apart from the pain of it breaking down and me repairing, ive had so much fun from this replica, and now its running like a train. but by now i couldve as well spent the money for upgrades on two of these. So, here is my must-read knowledge if you want to buy this replica. Out of the box the body and internals aren't too bad, generally decent. Leaky magazines are super easy to fix without knowledge, all u need is to lube the rubbers in the magazine evenly with silicone and make sure u put them back proper. if you know how to take apart the drain under a sink to remove hairs and put it back without leaks, then u can also repair this magazine. headsup: do not lose the tiny 3mm spring at the top of each magazine when you take out the internals. with a pin-punch or a 0.5mm drillbit you can hammer out the 3 smaller magazine pins. The biggest pain is the buffer tube spring, the standard spring is too weak and the gun doesnt cycle fast enough resulting in many bb-jams and doublefeeds, and the bb's get stuck and the nozzle is blocked. and u need to take apart upper receiver which can be hard if theres a blockage and the bolt is in rear position... because then it won't open and the forward assist doesnt work that well. (i use a solid metal wire i bent to pry bb's out). that's the only thing that needed changing, so i recommend anywhere between a 120%-140% buffer tube spring for AR15/M4 models and the blowback feels super snappy. other than that i fell one time and the potmetal receiver broke in half so i had to replace it, only thing i could find was polymer upper. also, the nozzle was damaged due to aforementioned problem with bb's getting stuck there. and also the nozzle spring was too weak. i changed it with an AEG charging handle spring which is the same size but better strength. so in the end recommended upgrades: - buffer tube spring (changing it is 10 seconds work) - upgrade nozzle return spring (5 minutes). use needlepliers or tweezers to push loose the C/E-clamp holding the spring end. use same method to push back. - lube magazines with silicone. special tools needed: you can do everything with regular tools as long as you have a tiny drillbit 0.5mm to use as a pinpunch, and a hammer. last tip: trying to remove the flash hider or compensator to put a tracer there, i missed there was a hex-screw at bottom so i ruined my thread trying to get it off with force. so: there is a hex at the underside! :D
