Replica CM16 LMG Stealth Machine Gun
The replica of the CM16 LMG rifle produced by G&G was made within the framework of the Combat Machine project, the idea of which is to provide high-end replicas at a price that can be considered economical. The Combat Machine replicas are characterised by G&G's top-notch workmanship and culture, as well as the high quality of the materials used. The main factor, therefore, allowing to reduce the price is the use of a body made of high-quality glass fibre-reinforced plastic in place of metal.
The body, pistol grip, flask and RIS front in the M-LOK mounting system are made of plastic. On the other hand, the outer barrel, discharge device, slide and smaller components were made of metal.
The rifle is ideally suited for medium-range support operations, due to its discharge velocity of ~410 FPS. The dorsal RIS rail used allows the attachment of any aiming optical device, while the telescopic, rechargeable buttstock allows the replica to be adapted to the individual user's preferences. A front grip with bipod is included. The compact dimensions of the replica are sure to appeal to CQB players.
GB has an innovative ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit) system installed in addition to the usual high quality G&G parts. The system complements the role of the MOSFET system. Thanks to the electronic trigger operation, the system has gained excellent trigger response. Each press of the trigger results in a full GB cycle.
The ETU system has programmable firing modes. Basically, the user has access to SAFE - SEMI - and a choice of FULL AUTO or 3-shot burst modes. Programming is trivial - simply set the selector to the SEMI position and hold the trigger down for 10 seconds. Once this is done, the selected mode will be activated on the third selector setting.
The kit includes an electric box magazine that holds 2,500 rounds covered by a Cordura cover in Multicam Black camouflage. It is powered by 2 AA batteries.
