Covers for hydration systems and cartridges
Water and isotonic drinks are particularly important during physical exercise, as dehydration may become very dangerous. In airsoft, carrying water in bottles or external containers can be cumbersome, especially in dynamic CQB-type games, hence it is worth looking at the solutions that hydration systems offer.
Hydration systems - what are they?
The need to hydrate your body during exercise is indisputable. Therefore, hydration systems are very popular in airsoft. These are special liquid containers that are able to maintain the correct temperature of the drink. In addition, they have a mouthpiece and hose that allows you to use them during gameplay without having to take long breaks. No need to reach into your backpack for water, just reach for the mouthpiece. Dedicated covers and inserts are required for the system to provide maximum comfort.
Carrying hydration systems
There are many ways to carry hydration systems. One of them is a traditional backpack, where you can put a cartridge and a long hose can be attached to tactical equipment or clothing such as a waistcoat. The backpack can be used as a case for cartridges, but also for other accessories such as bbs or spare batteries. Unfortunately, this solution is not without its drawbacks - it hinders movement and can simply get in the way during dynamic games.
Special covers mounted on PALS/MOLLE systems, which are permanently attached to the waistcoat, are a recommended solution for more demanding players. Their compact size does not restrict movement, so it does not affect the player's efficiency. This solution means that hydration systems can be used both during long, multi-hour games and during Sunday-morning dynamic CQBs.
