CM042 has been made from metal components and wood. The grip, stock and foregrip were made of wood. The body of the replica, the breech cover, barrel, sights, trigger and trigger guard were made of metal. 2014-08-12The gun feels great, runs great. The stock battery is weak in my opinion. Stock doesn't fit a 3300mAh ni-mh battery, which is bad for me.

2014-05-29It's a good AEG for a reasonable price. The wooden parts look awesome and give it a realistic feel. The weight and the wooden parts make the replica a very cool and fun thing to use in skirms. The stock does fit a 9.6v minitype battery(which I do recommend using). I chrono'd it with a xcortech x3200 0.2g at 410-415fps. I'm pleased with my purchase.

the wood looks more red in real life then on the picture but is really smooth if you dont like the colour of the wood you can always refurnish it
