GR16 DST Blowback EBB Assault Rifle Replica - Tan is a field-approved, combat-ready replica - some technical and practical information below.
The replica has a classic, 6-position, telescopic stock. Due to adjustable length it can be adapted to the body type and user preferences. Access to the hop-up chamber is gained in a traditional way after pulling back the charging handle. After the removal of the top transport handle, various types of optical sights can be attached in its place on a 22mm, RIS mounting rail.
The rifle replica features a PBB system - Pneumatic Blow Back, it is, simply put, a bolt recoil system, that brings the operation of the replica closer to that of the live firearm original and thus enhancing the experience. It operates by diverting some of the compressed air from the gearbox to a special cylinder located underneath the skeleton. The effect is most noticeable when BBs are loaded. The piston located in the PBB cylinder moves the attached to it thin plate that imitates the bolt.
WARNING: The manufacturer does not recommend usage of batteries more powerful than 8,4V due to the possibility of damaging the aforementioned plate.
G&G replicas with PBB system have a reinforced, modified gearbox V2. The skeleton of the gearbox is made of aluminum.
The replica comes with a metal, hi-cap magazine with a capacity of up to 300 BBs.
The set does not include a battery or a charger.
The set includes:
- replica
- magazine
- cleaning rod
- manual
- package of 1000 G&G 0,20 BBs

Hop-Up Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy). | Yes |
