AS VAL Sniper Rifle Replica
A replica of a Russian AS VAL sniper rifle by King Arms. An object of desire of many Russophiles, fans of STALKER universe and not only. The entirety has been made with a great care for details and retaining the original size, weight and construction details as much as possible.
The replica was made of highest-quality materials. The integrated, one-piece silencer was made of aluminum 6061 using CNC technology. The dust cover was made of steel sheet, remaining elements such as the receiver, safety or the trigger guard were made of a uniform zinc and aluminum alloy. The handguard, just like in the live firearm, was made of black polymer with a grainy, rough texture.
The foldable to the side, frame stock enables the operation of the replica even in tight corners and simplifies its transportation. The dust cover, silencer and the stock can all be removed by pressing the lock buttons. On the left side of the receiver is a “dovetail joint” side mounting rail in SVD standard, which enables the attachment to the replica original optical sights (like the PSO-1 scope).
The winged safety is located on the right side of the receiver, its appearance resembles those known from AK replicas. The fire mode selector, like in the live firearm original, is located inside the trigger guard, right behind the trigger. The battery is located inside the silencer. The manufacturer recommenders using a tri-cell LiPo battery (the box contains a special coupler so that the battery can fit inside), however, there is no problem with fitting inside the silencer other types of stick batteries. Thanks to the aforementioned button for the silencer detachment, the battery change does not require any tools and the process lasts literally several seconds.
AS VAL features a reliable and easy to tune gearbox V3 based on 7 mm bearings, which allows for achieving a muzzle velocity of ~400 FPS straight out of the box. This and the implementation of an efficient 420 mm long external barrel make this replica ideal for middle-ranged and even long-range activities. Inside is an air-sealed pneumatic system, equipped with a high-quality chamber and HU bucking.
The replica comes with a polymer Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of up to 380 BBs that is a replica of a 30 live round magazine.
