FABRYKA BRONI RADOM
wz.96C Beryl Airsoft Assault Rifle
A distinctive silhouette, Polish heritage and a design inspired by Polish Army equipment. The Fabryka Broni Radom wz.96C Beryl is an airsoft version of the rifle that served alongside Polish soldiers for many years, both at home and on overseas deployments.
This model recreates the modernised C variant, distinguished by its telescopic stock, aluminium handguard with mounting rails and extended magazine release. It is designed for players, collectors and enthusiasts of Polish military equipment who value the origins and details of their airsoft replicas.

HISTORY OF THE ORIGINAL
Beryl — a rifle with a place in Polish Army history
The history of the Beryl is closely linked to the modernisation of the Polish Armed Forces and Poland's ambition to join NATO. A new rifle chambered in 5.56 × 45 mm was needed. A prototype was developed in 1995 and, following successful testing, became the basis for a design gradually introduced into service with units of the Polish Armed Forces.
Various versions of the Beryl saw service in Iraq, Afghanistan and Chad, among other locations. The design was also adopted outside the Polish Armed Forces — the A variant entered service in Lithuania, while the M762 variant was adopted in Nigeria.
This airsoft replica is based on the wz.96C, the modernised version of the Beryl. It retains the distinctive appearance of the original while incorporating a mechanism designed for airsoft use.
External components manufactured by Fabryka Broni in Radom
One of this model's most notable features is the origin of its external components. They were manufactured by Fabryka Broni in Radom and prepared for use in an airsoft replica. The model's description highlights their build quality and conformity with the specifications of the components used in the firearm counterpart.
The faithful reproduction of the design and the replica's markings are particularly relevant to anyone putting together a loadout inspired by the Polish Army. This makes the Beryl an interesting addition to both a collection and a loadout for reenactment-based airsoft games.

ADJUSTABILITY AND COMFORT
Telescopic stock with a rubber butt pad
The C variant features an adjustable telescopic stock, allowing its length to be tailored to the user. This adjustment is also useful when wearing a tactical vest, as additional layers of equipment affect how the replica is shouldered.
The stock is made from polymer and mounted on a steel stock tube. A rubber butt pad provides a contact surface against the shoulder, complementing the practical nature of this Beryl upgrade.
C VARIANT FEATURES
Aluminium handguard and accessory mounting options
The modernised Beryl features an integrated aluminium handguard assembly with an upper cover and mounting rails. This allows the replica's configuration to be adapted to personal preferences and the type of game.
The rails accommodate compatible RIS/Picatinny/Weaver accessories, such as a red dot sight, vertical grip, flashlight or laser sight. An extended magazine release complements the design, providing a larger surface for operation.
The package also includes a steel raised quick-detach optics rail assembly, offering an additional option for mounting optics.

OPTICS MOUNTING
Steel optics rail included
The replica comes with a steel raised quick-detach optics rail. This is an important part of the wz.96C Beryl's equipment, allowing the replica to be fitted with a compatible red dot sight or another optical sight.
The raised design creates a mounting platform above the receiver cover. The quick-detach mount makes the rail easy to remove and refit, while its steel construction complements the replica's metal components.
The rail is included in the package — there is no need to purchase it separately to prepare the Beryl for optics mounting. The replica also features standard iron sights.
CONSTRUCTION
Steel, aluminium and polymer
The replica combines three material types across its assemblies and components. The steel receiver and receiver cover are notable features for those who value metal external construction in an airsoft replica.
Aluminium in selected assemblies and polymer in the grip components complete the Beryl's construction. A detailed breakdown of the materials is provided below.

AIRSOFT MECHANISM
Gearbox with 8 mm bearings and a 500 mm barrel
Beneath the recreated Beryl exterior is an electric airsoft mechanism. Inside, the replica features a gearbox with 8 mm bearings and a 500 mm inner barrel. The airsoft drive system brings this distinctive Polish design to the skirmish field.
For collections and MilSim games
The wz.96C Beryl will appeal to fans of AK-family designs, particularly those building loadouts inspired by Polish military equipment. Its appearance, markings and the origin of its external components give it a distinctive identity among airsoft replicas.
It is a suitable choice for MilSim scenarios where matching equipment to a chosen impression is part of the game. The adjustable stock and accessory mounting options also allow the replica to be tailored to the user's preferences.
