CM16 Carbine Light DST Replica
A CM16 Carbine Light DST replica by G&G made as a part of the Combat Machine project whose aim is to deliver high quality replicas at a price that may be considered economic. Intermediate series replicas are characteristic for their highest, distinctive of G&G products, craftsmanship, reliability and high quality of materials used.
The main factor that allows to reduce the price is the use of a receiver made from a high quality polymer instead of metal. It is also important to note that the receiver was made from a glass fibre reinforced polymer - as was the pistol grip, the stock and almost all other polymer elements. Metal parts on the other hand include: the outer barrel, stock slide, latches, magazine casing and majority of small elements. The replica was made light in every possible place whilst retaining the durability and tightness of the entire construction. During usage, the user will not notice any loose spots and the replica is really solid. That makes using it really comfortable.
The replica is devoid of the possibility to open the dust cover flap with the bolt handle, but no tools are necessary in order to do so. Hop-Up is regulated in a traditional way via uncovering the chamber flap - it can be done with a finger, because it is closed only with a spring.
The replica was made in a sandy colour. The replica is perfect for operating on a short and medium range with a muzzle velocity of ~390 FPS. The implemented top RIS rail allows for the attachment of any optical sight, whereas a multi-position stock allows for adjustment of the replica to the preferences of an individual user.
The wiring of the replica was led to the front - the battery is stored in the handguard, however, the replica was adapted to operate with batteries with a Tamiya small connector.
