Česká Zbrojovka Shadow 2 GBB Pistol
This gas-powered replica of the CZ Shadow 2 pistol is largely made of metal. The pistol’s slide is made of anodised aluminium. The remaining components, such as the frame, grip panels and magazine, are made of metal. The pistol bears licensed Česká Zbrojovka markings .
The pistol is fitted with sports-style sights,
namely a front sight and a rear sight. The front sight is fixed and fitted with
a fibre-optic rod. The rear sight is adjustable both vertically and horizontally.
Furthermore, the Shadow 2 model is fitted with a three-position magazine release button. The position of the button can be adjusted to suit the user’s preference.
Compared to the previous model, the Shadow 2’s slide features more pronounced serrations,
which ensure a secure grip during reloading. The trigger guard
has been redesigned and enlarged, making the pistol
easy to use whilst wearing gloves. The hand guard (known as the ‘beavertail’) has been lengthened.
Thanks to the Blow Back system, each pull of the trigger causes the slide to recoil backwards, which cocks the hammer, and the forward return movement feeds a BB into the barrel, from where it is fired at a speed of 328 FPS when the trigger is pulled. If there are no BBs in the magazine, the slide remains in the rear position. It can be released by pulling the slide release lever.
Beneath the barrel is a RIS mounting rail, which allows the pistol to be fitted with a range of tactical accessories such as a laser sight or a torch.
The
pistol comes with a 26-round magazine, which also houses
a 12 g CO₂ cartridge. This model can also be powered by
green gas magazines.
