It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the
work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and
adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It's been a year this replica has been in use and it held awesome so far! Comparing it to a glock, recoil is stronger and this one is bulkier which is not a bad thing but you immediately notice this is a military pistol, full metal and will pretty much endure everything. Everything is working great so far, only con is that you can easily missclick mag release button so I recommend putting some vivid electrical tape on your magazine in case you will have to search for it on field. The range isn't much but afterall it is a pistol, and the accuracy isn't as great but you can hit everything at 15m but hard beyond. Simply changing hop up rubber would probably increase performance. Oh, one more thing. We have 3 KJW M9s and they tend to have feeding issues. We can't see a patern but sometimes every 5th shot will actualy fire a BB, at other times it will be all ok. I think it happens on all 3 replicas and I also think it doesn't happen on glock... Nevertheless, recommended, but the price at which we bought it was 70€ :P
