I Bought a Scout backpack (25L) on Gunfire tree years ago and have used it until today (zippers and clips wore out). I used it in combat, as a schoolbag, as a gymbag and mutch more and where very satisfied with the quality. This bag was ment to exchange that bag. Altough the size is a lot bigger. This bag is 35L without pouches wich is okay but not necessary for my use. It holds about 25-30 kilograms before the seams ruptures so i had to make some adjustments. But consider the prize i didnt expect it to hold more than that. The engineer bag is of course detachable and an additional strap is included. I am using the following pouches: Administration panel with map pouch – OLIVE, did not fit in the midsection. The attachments far out on both sides are to tight for the pouchstrips but can be adjusted with some needle and thread. Small dump pouch - OLIVE, fits perfectly on the upper and lower section on the sides. Pouch CQB - open OLIVE, fits in all sections. I use it for a readily accessible phone pouch Overall im satisfied and recommend this product if you are looking for a big backpack for daily use.
