JG Works JG2338 V2 AEG Assault Rifle
This replica is the successor to one of this manufacturer’s finest models – the JG0608, which has already become a legend in the airsoft community. This version features a scope integrated into the carrying handle and a full-size stock that folds to the side. In addition, a RIS rail has been fitted at the top of the carrying handle, level with the scope, allowing for the attachment of a red dot sight.
Like the original, the replica is made mostly from lightweight and durable polymer. The barrel, sights, fire selector, pins, trigger and lower RIS rail are made from metal. The body is pleasant to the touch and damage-resistant, and its good balance, combined with its light weight, improves the replica’s overall manoeuvrability, further enhanced by the use of a side-folding stock.
The entire replica is built using a modular system, allowing for easy replacement of the magazine well with an M4 standard one. The replica features a fixed 3x magnification scope, mounted at the base of the grip.
Another significant feature of this model, which enhances the replica’s practical value, is the ambidextrous fire selector.
The latest version of the replica (V2) features an innovative muzzle velocity adjustment system. A special type of spring guide has been fitted inside the gearbox; its length – and thus the replica’s power – is adjusted using an Allen screw. The adjustment range is ~360–400 FPS. Accessing the adjustment screw is extremely simple – simply fold down the stock and insert an Allen key into the visible hole in the rear wall of the body and gearbox.
