NiMH, Li-Po and Li-Ion batteries charging tips:

Velocity [FPS]

It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

1 FPS = 0,3 m/s

1 J = 99 m/s

1 J = 326,7 FPS

Propulsion / Powered by
Gearbox version

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.

Battery Capacity [mAh]

Battery capacity determines the time, which it accumulated enough energy to work gearbox. The greater  capacity, then replica will shoot longer.

Battery included

NiCd rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory. Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).

Blow Back

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

A disappointing copy of the Classic Army SA58 series. They would have done fine to just leave everything alone as the SA58 series was one of the best designs CA has produced, having a large battery capacity, and a nice bolt lock back for adjusting the hop up. For some reason, JG has added an electric blow back feature, which negates the locking back of the bolt for adjusting the hop up, and you will break the little screw inside instantly trying to lock it back to adjust it. My tip: Before even doing anything. Unscrew the 10 screws on the upper receiver cover and take it off and remove the electric blow back catch. It's worthless. The other thing that is highly aggravating is that they have blocked off all of the precious stock space and only given you a tiny spot for a mini battery. The SA58 was originally capable of carrying the large batteries which made it an excellent AEG for long games. Now they have reduced it to a lightweight 1 hour skirmish gun with tiny mini batteries. I do not know why they did any of these things to such an excellent design. I recommend going with a Lancer tactical or CA if you can find it or have the tech department remove the electric blowback before you get the gun.

a real dissapointment i was looking for a FN fal/slr for a long time was delighted to find this but the replica its self didnt even last past chrono at my local site 1st time out,the bbs only traveled a few feet and the replica made grinding noise when the bolt was pulled back there was a few bits of broken metal in around the hop up area, now to top it all of its seems to have got lost in post on its way back to gunfire

What can I say, lovely, lovely, lovely. Great replica of a great weapon. This looks and handles like the real thing(yes I have used a real one). The bolt holdback feature is great and the sound of the bolt slamming forward is really realistic. The only thing missing is the 7.62 brass flying past your right shoulder when you fire it. Well done JG on a great replica of an iconic cold war weapon. Love it.
