The L85A2 rifle series earned its reputation during the British Army's presence in Iraq, where it demonstrated the advantages of bullpup systems and an improved design that eliminated the problems of previous versions.
The L85/L86 rifles feature a unique bullpup design in which the breech assembly and magazine are located inside the 'flask', behind the trigger and pistol grip. This allows the rifle to be shorter and lighter, while maintaining standard barrel length and effective range. The result is a versatile rifle that is easier to handle in tight corridors while possessing the firepower and accuracy required for open-air battles.

The replica primarily features a long 480mm internal barrel length, and this combined with the replica's 460 FPS discharge velocity makes it an effective continuous fire machine. The 300 rounds in the Hi-Cap magazine will allow for crushing crushing fire.
