The carrimat model allows for quick folding or unfolding. This gives the carrimat a compatible size for easy transport and storage when hiking in the mountains or camping. 
The model is made of IPEX foam, which is characterised by its water resistance and, thanks to its aluminium layer, provides additional insulation protection from the ground.
The carrimat can also be used in winter when the aluminium layer is facing upwards. The heat generated by the body then reflects off the insulating layer, directing it back upwards.
