Too light, too weak, plastic teeth strips very quickly on faster builds. Teeth removal is very easy when correcting AOE, but due to weaker plastic it strips quickly now in 2 builds of mine

not really good piston, can not handle a strong AEG rate of fire. the steel part broke in 20min of use and the plastic is not of good material.

I always use these SHS pistons, if you're running anything under 350 fps they're your best option! Why not a full metal toothed rack? surely it's stronger/ will last longer? Very true, but if something does go wrong in the gearbox, i'd rather lose a £5 piston than a £20 gearset that will also need reshimming when you get it (speaking from experience) The plastic quality is great and even after 10,000 bb's there's barely any sign of wear (dependent on whether you correct AOE etc) Also it's much easier removing the 2nd to last tooth on the piston when it's plastic (just get a cheap file if you don't have a dremel)
