Family of LED tactical flashlights by G-light is an excellent choice for every user looking for an efficient, powerful light torch, which at the same time would not be extremely expensive. Due to the fact that its case was made of anodized aluminium, the torch is both durable and surprisingly light. The maximum flux constitutes 260 lumens and light reaches even 100 meters.
The flashlight is equipped with SMO smooth reflector, which produces very-well focused white light. G-Light torches are resistant to natural factors, both shocks and water - they have IP66 resistance class. The device is supplied by one CR123 battery (not included in the set).
A high quality Cree XR-E Q5 diode is mounted in the flashlight, it may be operated in 5 modes activated by pushing the switch, which is situated on the back side of the device. The torch has memory function - to switch back to the last used mode, you have to turn off the torch by 3-second pressing the switch.
- intensive mode - safety mode - SOS mode ( it transmits the Morse Code SOS signal) - stroboscope
S260 is the most compact model in G-Light flashlights series, which means that it can be always on us. It is equipped in a clip and a wrist strap, thanks to which thez can be worn comfortablz.
The all-purpose G-Light flashlights may be used in every situation and constitute an efficient tool in all weather conditions and, what is more, they stand out by a very profitable relation of price and quality.
First I don't know how to insert the battery, and thanks to other reviewer here, the battery compartment is
actually opened from the front side.
Also to change the mode, you need to press the switch half (don't press too hard until you hear the click sound).
It has 5 modes: high, medium, low, strobing, and SOS strobing.
The torch is ok, the light is focused more onward, not like Fenix LD12.
It has no problem to reach 20m, but the light is not so bright. I haven't tried 100m though.
Cons: it uses CR123A battery, which is expensive.
No memory mode. Actually when you press the on off switch, the mode changes to the next mode in the 5 cycles.
I think Fenix LD12 is better for CQB situation, as it has brightness twice as S260 does when used in a room.
Afterall this is ok product, considering the price and size.
Now I have to find a mount if I want to mount it to a weapon.
Very small but still gives you good light. I had problems finding the right battery until i found out you need to open it towards the front and not at the back! Then you can put in standard CR123 battery.
Good flashlight. Runs on unusual battery format, which is negative for me and the on/off button at the back is extremely green and therefor very visible, which is a shame. Overall quality is very good.
