Replica Specna Arms SA-A02 carbine
The Specna Arms SA-A02 carbine replica has been made predominantly from a uniform zinc-aluminium alloy, with the use of steel elements in the most critical points of the replica (so all screws, pins and the tactical sling handle are steel). Both the SF-type buttstock and pistol grip, which accommodates the battery, are made of polymer plastic. The replica's body and the RIS rail assembly have been anodised, which guarantees a high level of protection of the replica against corrosion. The replica itself was painted using a powder coating process, after the surface had been sandblasted. This method of paint application is known, among others, from G&P replicas and ensures a much higher than usual abrasion resistance of the applied paint.
The replica has been very well-fitted - in a way that has so far been seen almost exclusively in manufacturers of the G&P or Classic Army class - and perfectly balanced. This ensures almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica, while its weight is, moreover, almost imperceptible once the replica is placed against the shoulder.
The replica uses a quick spring change system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's power to the conditions expected on the playing field without the need to have access to a workshop or a number of specialised tools - after removing the gearbox from the body of the replica, the very process of changing the spring takes literally a few seconds.
The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are difficult to overestimate. In light of the prevailing tendency throughout Europe to apply legal limits to the firing speed of the replica and the arrangements that exist within the environments themselves, this system guarantees the user considerable options and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows, with a minimum of time, to change the mainspring and thus adjust the replica's exit velocity to the area of play so as to guarantee the ideal compromise between the effectiveness of the fire and the safety of yourself and other players.
The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe type batteries. With a base initial discharge velocity of ~410 FPS guaranteed by the factory-installed mainspring, the replica is ideal for medium range operations. An M90-type spring is also included, which allows to reduce the initial velocity to ~310 FPS thus making the replica perfectly suited for short-range or indoor operations.
The gearbox, reinforced at the height of the cylinder head, conceals a steel spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system and mounted on 8mm ball bearings and washers steel gears. The system is secured with four anti-reverse pawls. It also uses cylinder type 2 and steel cut-off lever. The replica is factory-fitted with an accurate, rotating, polymer Hop-Up chamberwhich allows very precise and stable adjustment of the BB cocking system.
Upgraded version features a number of new, reinforced parts such as:

- aluminium, sealed piston head
- metal cylinder head
- sealed, metal nozzle
The rifle is equipped with a long, dorsal 22mm RIS rail and a set of frontal RIS rails. This allows the carbine to be fitted with a whole range of additional accessories, from optical sights, grips and tactical lighting to laser target indicators. On the upper RIS rail, metal flip-up mechanical instruments are fitted, which can be folded away in an instant. Thanks to an extendable buttstock finished with a non-slip textured footplate, it is possible to adapt the length of the replica to the build and the shooter's preferences. The standard flame suppressor is mounted on a 14-mm left-hand thread, which makes it possible to attach a sound suppressor in its place.
To increase the realism of the game, the replica is also equipped with a functioning breech release.
The replica comes with a steel hi-cap type magazine, holding 300 rounds. Its colour scheme corresponds to that of magazines designed for firearms typically used by the armed forces.
The kit does not include a battery and charger.
