Specna Arms HAL™ electronic control system for V2 gearboxes
The presented electronic control system from Specna Arms is designed for replicas equipped with gearbox V2. The Specna Arms HAL system uses, among other things, magnetic sensors, allowing us to configure our replica in many ways.
Additionally, the system features:
- High sensitivity even when the trigger is lightly pressed
- Long life (increased wear resistance) and increased resistance to external factors
- Low/high voltage protection
- Overload protection (at ROF above 40 RPS, it will automatically stop the replica's operation, protecting gearbox parts)
The Specna Arms HAL™ chip is compatible with BLDC™ motors , which will translate into even better performance.

-trigger detection based on magnetic sensors and Hall effect

-adjustable trigger sensitivity (5 levels from 20 to 100%)
-adjustable pre-cocking (6 levels)
-aUTO programmable fire modes (full auto, semi, 3-rd burst, 5-rd burst)

-low battery alarm
-compatibility with brushless motors

2026-04-25The Specna Arms version of HAL is just not working as it should. A friend and I have bought around 10 HALs from here in the last 6 months, and only 2 have worked as they should. They either only work on Semi or on Auto, or they fry your battery once it's connected, or they fry themselves after a while. It's just nothing I want to buy again. This is the same for the V2 and V3 versions of HAL.
We talked to many more people in our organization about this, and many, many more have had the same experience with the Specna Arms HAL. Actually, it's all Specna Arms edition ETUs/Mosfets. Aster 2 is another that keeps being faulty from Specna Arms. The Gate version works great.
Our organization has decided not to buy any more Specna Arms electronics. I've also been told by one of, if not the biggest, Airsoft YouTuber in Sweden that he also will not buy it anymore and won't recommend anyone else doing so either.

If any electronic unit is faulty despite being installed correctly, we kindly ask you to submit a warranty claim. The shipping cost is fully covered by us, so there is no cost involved in sending the product back for inspection.
We would also like to clarify one point regarding the ASTER 2. The ASTER 2 installed in Specna Arms replicas is exactly the same unit as the standalone ASTER 2 sold by GATE and it is a originalm unmodified product. It is not a different or lower-spec version.
