Specna Arms MP41 RETRO AEG submachine gun (X-ASR)
The Specna Arms: Retro range was developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas, designed for enthusiasts of iconic designs from past decades. Models in this range faithfully reproduce the appearance of the original weapons, making them ideal for historical re-enactments and an excellent choice for enthusiasts of historical firearm replicas.
The MP41 was designed at the C.G. Haenel factory. It was a further development of the MP40 design. Unlike its predecessor, which is only colloquially and incorrectly referred to as the ‘Schmeisser’, the MP41 was actually designed by Hugo Schmeisser.
The model combined features of the MP40 (including the bolt) and the MP28 (the wooden stock and trigger mechanism). The submachine gun was mainly issued to the police, Germany’s allies and rear echelon units.
The model shown here is made from metal and wood.
The following parts are made of steel: the barrel , magazine well, bolt cover, steel front sight and magazine. The reloading handle, butt plate and trigger guard are made of aluminium.
The stock and the lower part of the receiver are made of wood.
The replica allows for both single-shot and automatic fire. The fire mode is changed by moving the reloading handle forwards or backwards
Inside the replica, you will find, among other things:
