Specna Arms MP44/StG44 RETRO AEG Assault Rifle (X-ASR)
The Specna Arms: Retro range was developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas, designed for enthusiasts of iconic designs from past decades. Models in this range faithfully reproduce the appearance of the original weapons, making them ideal for historical re-enactments and an excellent choice for enthusiasts of historical firearm replicas.
The MOSFET X-ASR ensures the safety of the replica’s components, improves trigger response and extends the service life of the electronics and battery, whilst also allowing basic faults within the replica to be diagnosed thanks to built-in indicator LEDs.
An airsoft version of the famous assault rifle, which was designed for the German military during the Second World War. It was a design that pioneered a new category of individual automatic weapons.
The MP44/StG44 was one of the first assault rifles to use an intermediate cartridge – the 7.92x33 mm Kurz. The MP44 was the first weapon in history capable of using the ZG 1229 Vampir night-vision sight. By the end of the war, almost half a million units had been produced. To this day, there is ongoing debate regarding the influence of the StG 44’s design on the development of later carbines, including Mikhail Kalashnikov’s AK-47.
The MP44/StG44 from Specna Arms is made from metal, polymer and wood.
The barrel, muzzle device, receiver, body, sights, magazine well, magazine, fire selector and reloading handle are made of metal.
The fixed wooden stock features holes for a carrying strap.
