Specna Arms PRIME x Gens Ace 7.4V 1000mAh 25C LiPo battery with T-Deans G-Tech connector
Specna Arms presents a battery for airsoft guns, developed in collaboration with Gens Ace – a popular battery manufacturer.
This collaboration has resulted in unique batteries featuring, amongst other things, shorter cables – saving valuable space – and a G-Tech connector, which allows them to be used with chargers fitted with a G-Tech socket. Once the battery is connected to the G-Tech socket, the charger will recognise the battery after 5 seconds and automatically select the optimal charging mode.
This battery has been specially designed to power airsoft guns. It is ideal for M4/M16-series replicas.
To meet customer expectations,Specna Arms offers a wide range of high-performance LiPo batteries to suit every user’s needs – whether you’re looking for a battery for a stock compartment, a stock or a dummy laser sight – you’ll find all this and much more in our range, which allows for even longer playtime.
Lithium-ion-polymer (LiPo) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly their capacity-to-size ratio. They are very compact whilst maintaining very high current output, which allows you to select the right pack for practically any AEG replica. They do not suffer from the memory effect. They can be charged very frequently without first being fully discharged. Frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.
It is important to remember not to discharge a LiPo pack below 3V per cell, nor to overcharge it above 4.2V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo packs is their low self-discharge rate. An unused pack loses around 3–5% of its energy per month. You should keep an eye on the pack, as during very long-term storage it may discharge below the permissible minimum value (3V per cell) and irreversible chemical reactions may occur, which can lead to a deterioration in the pack’s performance, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, ignition. An unused LiPo pack should be charged to an average of around 70%.
When used correctly, the service life of LiPo packs averages 500–700 cycles. An important factor is the temperature at which LiPo packs can operate. Unlike other batteries, LiPo cells perform well at low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To keep LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging using the service plug, which is fitted to most LiPo packs (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
