Wide-Bore 6.20mm Delta Strike Barrel 247mm
A Wide-Bore 6.20 mm Prometheus barrel stabilizes the flight path of a BB thanks to 3 retaining points and enlargement of the Hop-Up window, thus improving the operation of the Hop-Up system. The insert with three retaining points centralizes the BB in the middle of a barrel, enlarged Hop-Up window allows to put stronger spin on a BB which effectively increases the range. Increased caliber causes an air “pillow” to form under a BB in the barrel, which stabilizes it and forces it to travel beneath the ceiling of the barrel and not bounce from the sides of the barrel. Such a solution makes the BB flight patch much more stable, which increases accuracy and range.
The barrel was made from high-quality brass, which was carefully polished and bulged to provide stable efficiency. On the inside, the barrel was covered with what Prometheus calls “BC Bright Coating”, which is a technique that significantly improves internal polish.
We recommend usage with R-Hop systems or Flat Hop buckings for maximum barrel efficiency.
