2013-05-25The RDS comes in a nice and elegant black/silver package. It is shipped with two mounts (RIS and another one that I believe to be picatinny), a cheap-looking cloth for cleaning the glass parts and a metal mesh which you can screw on the front glass in order to protect it from bullets.
When I turned on the RDS I was surprised it had a red and a green dot as the description does not mention the green one.
Unfortunately, the dot can't be adjusted far enough to the left so that I had to stick a small piece of plastic between the mount and the RIS rail in order to turn the whole sight a little.
While I could live with that, what really annoys me is the fact that both the darker and the brighter red dot are way to small. Outside you can't even see the dark red dot.
The green dot works fine and is bright enough.
When I sent a mail to gunfire complaining about those two issues, they told me it is hard to tell if anything is wrong when you can't check it personally. After sending them pictures of every brightness setting I received no response.
This is the dark red dot:

And this is the bright green dot (which is just bright enough to be seen perfectly outside):

Accessories: more than I excepted 5
Feeling: Solid, won't break 5
Usability: not adjustable enough, to dark 2
this makes an average of 4 points out of 5, minus 1 point for the bad support.
