The WE MK16 MOD 0 airsoft rifle
Of the many replicas of this carbine available on the market, the airsoft version presented by WE can confidently be counted among the top. Excellent reproduction of all details known from the original and the use of the highest quality materials for production makes the WE replica an ideal choice.
The upper body was made from a single piece of aluminium using CNC technology. The lower body, the butt and the pistol grip are made from reinforced polymer tan-coloured, small parts also from steel - - such as the flame suppressor and the magazine shell.
The body is laser-engraved with authentic markings, such as those on the firearm counterpart. A star key, useful when disassembling the replica, is concealed in the dummy gas block.
The replica has adjustable, folding, mechanical flip-up sights. The fire mode selector is located on both sides of the body, so there is no problem for left-handed people to operate the carbine. The hop-up chamber is accessed by pulling back the reloading handle. The handle itself can be moved to the other side of the replica, and the bolt-catch system is also partially functional.
The buttstock is finished with a rubber foot, houses the battery inside and has an adjustable length (6 positions), so you can adjust the replica to the build and preferences of the shooter. The cheek pad is also adjustable, and the buttstock itself can be fully folded to the side to further reduce the size of the replica - e.g. for transport.
There is a long, ridged RIS 22mm mounting rail along the entire length of the body. The rails are also mounted on three sides of the front grip. Thanks to them, we have the possibility to equip the carbine with a whole range of additional accessories, from optics, grips and tactical lighting to laser target indicators.
The interior also leaves nothing to be desired, thanks to the use of an 8mm gearbox bearing v.2 full of reinforced parts. This is complemented by a high-quality chamber and Hop-up rubber band, a sealed system and a great fit of the individual components. An interesting innovation is the spring release system when the fire mode selector is switched to "protected".
