ASR105 EBB Carbine Replica
The ASR10x line of replicas manufactured by APS is the perfect pick for players who are starting their adventure with airsoft or looking for a replica at an affordable price, but with solid construction of both the external parts and the internal mechanism.
The receiver, the transport grip, the outer barrel, the stock guide, the magazine and all small elements such as the trigger, the firing selector or the shell ejector flap are made out of metal. The front grip, pistol grip and stock were made out of plastic. Access to the hop-up adjustment knob is obtained after pulling back the charging handle. The battery is housed within the front grip.
It is a version of the CQB with a shortened outer barrel. The replica was equipped with an adjustable, telescopic stock with a rubber butt-plate. There is a short RIS rail on the stock for attaching additional accessories. Under the transport handle, there is a 22mm RIS rail, which can be used to mount various types of optical sights.
The rifle uses the EBB - Electric Blow Back system, which sets the dummy bolt in motion and provides the user with additional realism.
The heart of the replica is the new v.2 "Silver" type gearbox. Designed and made using an innovative and more user-friendly technique, according to comparative tests carried out by the manufacturer, it is 33% more efficient in terms of energy consumption than the standard system. It is equipped with a quick spring change system that allows the user to change the muzzle velocity of the projectile without having to open up the gearbox.
The reinforced gears are mounted on 7 mm metal bearings. The replica is equipped with a semi-precision inner barrel with a diameter of 6.04 mm, which, combined with a moderate muzzle velocity of ~ 380 FPS, makes the ASR105 an ideal replica for airsoft combat at close and medium distances.
The replica comes with a metal hi-cap magazine with a capacity of 300 BBs.
