L85A2 (GG Version) Carbine Replica
The L85A2 carbine replica by WE is a true representation of L85 assault rifle, which is a standard-issue equipment for front units of the United Kingdom. It features all the features of the original, without the downsides. It is a replica that is comfortable in use, accurate and providing great maneuverability, whilst maintaining a significant firepower. Due to its bullpup construction a satisfying compromise between the barrel length (which impacts the precision) and the replica’s size has been struck. That, in turn, increased its usability value.
The main construction of the replica was made out of steel as well as zinc and aluminium alloy. The steel parts include the receiver, trigger guard and flash hider. Elastic ABS polymer was used for parts such as: pistol grip linings, handguard, trigger and cheek pad. The stock pad has been made from a thick, profiled, anti-slip rubber. All that makes the weight of the replica only slightly different than that of the original.
The replica is compatible with green gas M4/M16 (STANAG) magazines by WE. It is very dependable in its operation, which means it not only looks good but also serves well. As expected of a GBB replica by WE, the implemented blow-back system provides a solid feel of increased realism during usage. It is worth to note that due to the movement of the entire system further to the back, in comparison to traditional GBB replicas (e.g. M4 or SCAR), the impact of the blow back is much greater and much closer to the original. There is no point in hiding it – accurate and precise sustained fire can be difficult.

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
