Grandpa, what did you carry on field exercises?
Some sets are simply bought. Others bring back memories, even if most of them come from stories, photographs, reenactments, or milsims.
On August 15, Poland celebrates Polish Armed Forces Day. It is hard to imagine a better time to reach for a piece of modern Polish military history.
We created this set for those who see the Beryl as something more than just another AK-platform airsoft replica — it brings to mind training grounds, wz.93 Pantera Leśna camouflage, and Polish military gear from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
BERYL AND THE SPIRIT OF THE POLISH ARMED FORCES
At the heart of the set is the FB Radom wz.96A Beryl by ARES, accompanied by gear inspired by the Polish Armed Forces of the late 1990s and early 2000s. It is a set for airsoft players, collectors, and enthusiasts of Polish military history. In short: a lot of Poland in one set.
FB Radom wz.96A Beryl ARES
The star of the Patriot Set
The replica was developed in cooperation with Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom, so this is not a loose interpretation of the Beryl based on looks alone.
The design is based on the distinctive wz.96A. A steel folding stock, steel receiver and receiver cover give the replica the right weight and character. The outer barrel and sights are made of aluminium.
There is also one of those details that people familiar with the Beryl will appreciate — the extended magazine release. The replica comes with a 120-round mid-cap magazine.
The Beryl remains one of the most recognisable symbols of the modern Polish Armed Forces. It was also used by Polish soldiers during overseas deployments, including missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is exactly why it is hard to mistake it for “just another AK”.

Additional Specna Arms 120-round mid-cap magazine
One magazine is enough. In theory.
That is why the set includes a second 120-round mid-cap magazine with 5.56 × 45 mm markings. More time in the game, less time running back to your backpack for a spare.
KAM-39 GFC Tactical Vest – Pantera Leśna
The vest comes in the distinctive Polish wz.93 Pantera Leśna camouflage, making it a natural match for the character of the whole set.
It features three STANAG magazine pouches, a radio pouch and a holster. A wide adjustment range makes it easy to fit the vest to the user and the rest of their gear.
Patrol Backpack
For water, food, BBs, an extra layer of clothing, and all those things that were definitely “going to stay in the car” before the game.
The backpack offers plenty of storage space, a MOLLE system, and a hip belt. The material also provides some protection against water, although we still would not recommend taking it for a swim in the Oder.
It works equally well as part of a Polish Armed Forces-inspired loadout or simply as practical gear for an all-day airsoft game.
SATAC Tactical Cap
A simple tactical baseball cap with ventilation panels and three hook-and-loop areas.
Just enough space to show which unit you belong to, your callsign, or how completely incapable you are of walking past a patch stand without buying something.
Who is the Patriot Set for?
For those who:
- know exactly what they are looking at the moment they see a Beryl,
- have a soft spot for Polish military gear,
- enjoy milsims, reenactment, and loadouts inspired by the Polish Armed Forces,
- remember when Pantera Leśna was simply Pantera rather than “retro camouflage”,
- want a ready-made set with an airsoft replica and gear built around one consistent theme.
And if the sight of a wz.96A makes you feel just a little nostalgic — we probably do not need to explain anything else.
Blow Back![]() Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting. | No |

Gearbox version![]() Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3. | Gearbox special |
Hop-Up![]() Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy). | Yes |
