This spring-powered airsoft rifle, however, marks Modify’s debut in the field of airsoft gun production. The MOD24 arrives in two parts – the stock and the barrel with the entire mechanism. Assembling them into a single unit takes literally a few seconds. They fit together perfectly, and all you need for a stable and secure connection are two screws and an Allen key (included in the set).
The stock is very well made. It’s crafted from high-quality, reinforced polymerin an elegant, matt olive colour. The stock is finished with a sturdy buttplate made of thick rubber, featuring a non-slip texture and adorned with the Modify logo. The buttplate is mounted on a metal, telescopic guide. This allows the length of the stock to be adjusted smoothly, tailoring it to the shooter’s build and personal preferences. The stock also features two metal mounts for attaching a tactical sling or harness, as well as a bipod mounting point.
The second component consists of the barrel, together with the bolt and trigger assembly. All these parts are made of metal, and the one-piece outer barrel gives a truly solid impression. The bolt is fitted with a classic-shaped, comfortable reloading handle. Despite the relatively strong spring fitted as standard in the replica, reloading poses no problems. Thanks to its precise fit, the mechanism itself moves smoothly and very efficiently.
Inside, you’ll find a long, 485mm inner barrel and a spring-powered mechanism based on a steel cylinder and a set of reinforced metal internal parts . You can be sure of the top-quality parts used – after all, it’s Modify.
Right next to the grip is the trigger lock lever, which can be operated with your thumb. A universal 22mm metal RIS mounting rail is fitted to the replica’s body, allowing you to equip the rifle with all types of optical sights. The hop-up system is adjusted using a lever located on the outer barrel. The replica’s trigger is also adjustable .
A particularly interesting feature is the LED module included in the set, which is mounted inside the replica’s magazine.By using special luminescent tracer BBs, which are illuminated by the LED, you can achieveahighly strikingtracer effect. This is sure to add variety to any night-time game and will also help improve the accuracy of your shots.The instructions included in the box clearly explain how to fit it into the magazine – to dismantle the magazine, simply knock out the two retaining pins. The set also includes LR41 batteries to power the module.
The magazine itself is made of green polymer – it is semi-transparent, which makes it easy to check the number of BBs loaded into it (capacity is 30).
The replica is compatible with APS2-standard tuning parts.
