Sound suppressor replica 5KU DTKP Type 3
Sound suppressor replica modelled on a closed type exhaust device (ДТК закрытого типа) Russian company Hexagon (Гексагон).
The combustible equivalents of the outlet device Hexagon are multi-functional accessories for carbines of the AK series, submachine guns PP-19, manual machine guns PK and PKM and even sniper rifles. Each model is characterised by versatility, as the device not only acts as a flame suppressor, but also as a compensator and sound modulator.
Modular design allows the device to be shortened, extended or adapted to another thread at will, as well as being easily cleaned of cordite residue.
High-quality materials, precision workmanship, first-class finish, thoughtful design and versatility in terms of functionality, as well as a wide range of models for virtually any type of firearm, have made Hexagon suppressors very popular among all representatives of Russian force structures.
The 5KU production replica has been made of high quality aluminium, depending on the version it has been adapted to replicas equipped with 14mm CW or 24 CCW threads. The interior of the suppressor is hollow so that it can be filled with suppressing material or the model can become a housing for tracer modules.
The design features very good reproduction of the original and low weight.
