SR-911 Desert Commando is a Gas Blow Back replica pistol manufactured by SRC. The pistol is practically entirely made of metal, with only the grip facings made of plastic. Thanks to the materials used and the justifiable weight, the replica gives a very solid, realistic impression.
Thanks to the thick, rubberised grip covers, the replica much better and more securely fits in the hand than the classic 1911.
The replica features a Gas Blow Back system that causes the breech to move with each shot, which increases the realism and brings the shooting experience closer to using a real firearm. As in the original, after firing the last ball the lock remains in the rear position, after inserting a full magazine it must be released by moving the lock. The pistol is equipped with both a safety and a rear grip safety. The pistol has a Hop-up system, access to its adjustment is gained by removing the breech.
