While build quality is good, the dot is invisible in sunny conditions. I found out the hard way arriving into the game and was unable to use it during the game. It works well indoor.

Extremely high quality, and yet affordable sight! The build quality is outstanding, with high quality durable materials. The sight picture is clear and comfortable to use, and it retains zeroing very well. I use this on a hard kick GBBR replica, and the dot does not move at all even after sustained fire. The batteries are easy to change, and the locking lever of the battery housing is very reliable - it is very hard to open accidentally. Possibly the best 551 sight replica available!

user side window is very reflective in bright conditions. if you close the other eye, it's often completely "unusable" to aim as you only see the dot but nothing else through the window. much lighter than 552
