The replica is made of steel, metal and high-quality polymer. The body of the replica, RIS rails, the flask guide, and the magazine are made of metal. The pistol grip and adjustable flask are made of polymer. Small parts, such as pins, rings on the barrel, the external barrel, and the flame suppressor were made of steel.
The replica is powered by CO2 gas, loaded from a standard capsule CO2 12g into a magazine with a capacity of 30 pellets. The replica has a working bolt catch system - when the last ball is fired, the lock remains in the rear position. When the next magazine is inserted, the bolt catch must be pressed to release the lock and thus feed the ball into the chamber. It is possible to deactivate this system by means of a switch in the magazine, thanks to which the replica can also be used as a safe training weapon or a simulated weapon - as it will be possible to fire 'dry', with an empty magazine, while retaining all the sound and visual effects provided by the GBBR replica.
Additional realism is added by a new system introduced by the manufacturer, the so-called Open Bolt. EC replicas with this solution do not have the brass insert in the breech chamber, which was present in the first models of this company. Thanks to the use of such a system, the entire breech retracts during shooting, identical to the fire version.
