Cybergun MP40 AEG airsoft machine pistol
Airsoft version of the famous German WWII MP40 - Maschinenpistole 40 - often erroneously referred to as the Schmeisser. The MP40 pistol was a development version of another PM - the MP38, which was an extremely modern design, but at the same time difficult to manufacture. In the spring of 1940, German motor ers started a new design, and the submachine gun itself - already named the MP40 - was characterised by the use of, among other things, the steel sheet stamping method, which simplified the production process. The MP40 is the symbol of the German soldier during the Second World War. The distinctive shape makes the model one of the most recognisable PMs in history. Approximately 1.1 million were produced by the end of the war.
The presented AEG version from Cybergun was made using steel, aluminium and polymer.
Among other things, the upper barrel, magazine seat, mid-cap magazine and the musket cover along with the buttstock were made of steel . The external barrel was made of aluminium, as was the vehicle shooting hook, sling eye and buttstock. Plastic was used for the lower body and pistol grip with reloading handle.
The gun has a safety in the pistol grip and there is a fire type switch on the side of the body.

Muzzle velocity [FPS]![]() It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second). 1 FPS = 0,3 m/s 1 J = 99 m/s 1 J = 326,7 FPS | 360 |

Gearbox version![]() Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. Hop-Up![]() Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy). | Yes |
