The manufacturer was inspired by the PSO-1 NPZ and POSP 2-6x24 Zenit-Belomo rifle sights, taking the best features from both designs and enriching them with its own solutions. OPFF-03 is covered with the characteristic Soviet and early Russian rifle sights "hammer" enamel, perfectly matching classic replicas such as the SWD or WSS Wintoriez. In addition, the adjustment turrets have also been kept in the colours of the original, giving the OPFF-03 a unique character.
The sight mount and reticle illumination system have been modified to improve the fit of the sight to the mount. Thanks to that, the sight fits both SWD riflescopes and AK carbines (even AKS-74U) or WSS or AS WAL replicas made by LCT.
Image quality, as befits this manufacturer, is first class. The reticle of the sight is clear, with two levels of illumination in red. Adjustment is via two turrets with clear clicks (1 click = 0.75 MOA). The sight is powered by a single CR2032 battery. The sight is equipped with adjustable 3-9x zoom.
