SC-01 carbine replica
Replica is made mostly of strong and durable nylon. Ris rails, barrel, iron sights and magazine are made of metal. Folding stock with rubber cap is adjustable and storages battery. Replica uses standard M4/M16 magazines. Magazine catch and fire selector work both sides, what makes it perfect assault rifle for left and right-handed. Flip-up iron sights are adjustable and made of metal.
The set does not include the battery and charger.

2014-09-26Arrived fine, you'll probably have as much with the polystyrene as I did! Stuff got everywhere/ had to vacuum the gun.
Pros:
-Complete aluminium upper receiver (most of the gun) very sturdy
-Very nice weight and is balanced, not front or rear heavy etc
-VERY easy to disassemble
-Buying spare externals is very easy too
Cons
-plastic hop unit, it should be fine but i would prefer a metal one, it's a clone of the CA one and unfortunately finding the metal hop units for those is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
-Seems kinda fussy on mags, I tried using DBoyz's own VN style mags in it and the mag catch won't have any of it, which is a shame! Could be a QC issue though
-Front sight on mine is slightly wonky, not too bothered as i'm running optics though
-The stock retracts about an inch, not really a lot of adjustment!
-the folding stock covers the pistol grip on the right hand side making it nigh on impossible to use properly, if this is a true real steel clone i'm really surprised FN designed it that way.
observations:
-A LOT of the screws came loose during transport, 3 receiver ones, all the stock ones needed a good tighten to stop wobble, so if your gun comes and feels a bit shakey that's why!
- Mine is definitely suffering internally at the moment, i've ran it on a 9.6V NiMh and the ROF is awful, tried it on a clone motor too and same effect; my thoughts are it has a typical chinese M120-130 in it, but it's chronoing in at 300 fps, therefore there's a serious compression issue somewhere - I suspect the cylinder which looks like the wrong type to be in the gun for the barrel length and also seems to be bulging out of the gearbox - QC issues i'm sure and don't seem to be present in my friend's one of these!
-Runs a standard V2 gearbox so parts are easy to source!
